Vertical Slurry Pump

The vertical slurry pump is a single-stage, single-suction, vertical cantilever centrifugal submersible pump. Featuring a semi-open impeller with wear-resistant covers fitted at both the front and rear, it is widely used in chemical processes for conveying abrasive and corrosive media containing solid particles below 30% and with a viscosity below 200 cP.

Description

The vertical slurry pump is a single-stage, single-suction, vertical cantilever centrifugal submersible pump. It features a semi-open impeller with wear-resistant covers fitted at both the front and rear. This pump is widely used in chemical processes for conveying abrasive and corrosive media containing solid particles below 30% and with viscosities below 200 cP. It is particularly suitable for transporting media such as phosphoric acid and ammonium phosphate slurry in the phosphate fertilizer industry. The conveyed medium typically operates below 110°C. For higher-temperature media, consider employing cooling water to cool the bearings.
