Segmented multistage pump (drum-type or self-balancing)
Segmented multistage pumps are highly efficient fluid conveyance devices operating on the principle of centrifugal force. They achieve progressive pressure increase through multiple impellers connected in series and are widely used in industrial applications. Based on their axial force balancing mechanisms, segmented multistage pumps can be categorized into two types: drum-type and self-balancing.
