They are also ideal for temporary transfer and sump drainage. These pumps incorporate the respective advantages of self-priming, submersible, canned motor, slurry, and trash pumps, making them a highly versatile solution.
Description
Pneumatic diaphragm pumps are suitable for handling a wide range of liquids, including corrosive fluids, liquids containing particles, high-viscosity liquids, volatile, explosive, and highly toxic liquids, as well as ceramic glaze slurry, jam, glue, and the recovery of residual cargo from tanker holds or temporary transfer tanks. These pumps combine the advantages of various fluid transfer equipment such as self-priming pumps, submersible pumps, canned motor pumps, slurry pumps, and trash pumps.
The wetted parts of the pump can be constructed from materials like stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cast iron, or plastics. Additionally, the diaphragms are available in four different materials—nitrile rubber (NBR), fluoroelastomer (FKM), neoprene (CR), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)—to accommodate different liquid characteristics.

Also suitable for ceramic glaze, jam, glue, and can be used to completely evacuate liquids in temporary transfer operations.
Product features
This pump is capable of handling both free-flowing liquids and semi-solid or viscous media that are difficult to transfer, incorporating the key advantages of self-priming pumps and non-clogging slurry pumps.
It is easy to operate, requires no external water supply for operation, and works reliably — simply connect to a power source. Since the diaphragm completely isolates the pumped medium from the mechanical drive components, any risk of fluid leakage is eliminated.
The simple design, with minimal wear parts, allows for easy installation and maintenance. The pumped medium never comes into contact with moving components such as connecting rods and bearings, thereby preventing abrasion and ensuring consistent performance.
It can handle viscous liquids up to 10,000 cP. The pump’s smooth flow path ensures high efficiency, minimizes particle accumulation, and reduces wear.
