The slurry pump is a single-stage, single-suction cantilever centrifugal pump designed by incorporating the advantages of similar products both domestically and internationally. This pump facilitates easy installation, disassembly, and maintenance.

Structure and Performance

Pump Head Section: GLZ and GLYZ(ZM) type slurry pumps feature a dual-casing structure comprising front and rear pump casings, front and rear wear plates, a protective sleeve, and a shaft sleeve. The flow path components are manufactured from various wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials based on the medium requirements. The front and rear pump casings are made of gray cast iron or ductile iron. The pump discharge port can be installed at eight different angles in 45-degree increments as needed, or at any angle specified by the user. The front and rear impeller covers feature back vanes to reduce leakage, thereby extending pump life and improving efficiency.

Shaft Seal Section: Two types of shaft seals are available: auxiliary impeller shaft seals and packing seals. Auxiliary impeller shaft seals offer advantages such as non-dilution of slurry, extended seal service life, and superior sealing performance. Packing seals feature a simple structure and facilitate easy maintenance.

Drive Section: GLZ and GLYZ(ZM) type slurry pumps can be directly driven. The bearing housing and bearing assembly feature high structural strength, a large pump shaft diameter, excellent rigidity, and short cantilever length, preventing bending and vibration under harsh operating conditions. Heavy-duty single-row tapered roller bearings are selected to withstand both axial and radial loads. Bearings are grease-lubricated. Bearing covers with internal seals at both ends of the bearing housing effectively prevent slurry ingress and grease leakage, ensuring safe bearing operation. Upon customer request, the bearing drive section can be configured as a split design with oil lubrication.

Reduce friction and lower shaft temperature.

Scope of application

Suitable for conveying corrosive slurries containing solid particles in industrial applications. Primarily used in coal chemical processing, desulfurization, and mineral processing plants for handling concentrates and tailings. Also employed in ash removal and slag disposal at thermal power plants, coal slurry transportation in mineral processing, sand delivery in coastal and river channels, and other industrial scenarios across metallurgy, power generation, coal, building materials, and chemical sectors.
