Electric molten salt valves are industrial valves specifically designed for high-temperature, high-pressure molten salt media, widely used in solar thermal power generation, thermal energy storage, and chemical engineering applications.
Description
Electric molten salt valves are industrial valves specifically designed for high-temperature, high-pressure molten salt media. They are widely used in solar thermal power generation, thermal energy storage, and chemical engineering applications. Equipped with electric actuators for precise control, these valves ensure stable flow of molten salt under complex operating conditions. They also offer excellent high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing safe system operation.
Structure and Performance
Nominal diameter range: DN20 to DN150
Pressure range: PN1.0 to 16.0 MPa
Operating temperature range: -29°C to 575°C
The electric molten salt valve features a streamlined flow channel design that reduces flow resistance and optimizes the molten salt flow path. Its tilted valve body design, combined with a hard alloy sealing surface, ensures long-term stable operation under high temperature and pressure conditions. The valve stem employs dual sealing with a bellows and high-temperature resistant packing, effectively preventing molten salt leakage.
Use of materials
Valve body material is selected based on temperature: WCB or A105 for low temperatures (≤400°C), and CF8C or F347 for high temperatures (>400°C). Seals utilize Stellite hard alloy and high-temperature-resistant packing to ensure reliable sealing in high-temperature environments.
