Horizontal Split-Case Double-Suction Pump (BB1)
This series of pumps is primarily used in industries and fields such as refineries, petrochemical plants, cryogenic engineering, coal chemical plants, power plants, environmental protection projects, sewage treatment, and cement plants. They are suitable for conveying media such as circulating water and wastewater in chemical processes.
The pump body is designed for pressures of 1.6 MPa and 2.0 MPa. To meet the requirements of users worldwide, the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump body can be selected according to standards such as ANSI, PN, and JIS. Both the inlet and outlet flanges are located on the lower pump body, allowing the rotor to be removed without dismantling the system piping for convenient maintenance. Some pump bodies feature a dual-channel design to reduce radial forces, thereby extending the service life of mechanical seals and bearings.
The impeller’s hydraulic design employs advanced CFD technology, thereby enhancing the pump’s smooth operation.
The thicker uranium shaft diameter and shorter bearing spacing reduce shaft deflection, thereby extending the service life of the mechanical seal and bearings.
Bushings For all pumps, bushings can be made from a variety of different materials to prevent the shaft from corrosion and wear. Bushings are replaceable.
Wear rings are employed between the pump casing and impeller, featuring replaceable wear rings to prevent wear on both components. This design facilitates easy replacement, minimizes maintenance costs, and ensures consistent operating clearances with high efficiency.
The packing body design can utilize either packing or mechanical seals, allowing for seal replacement without removing the pump cover.
The unique bearing housing design allows for either grease or oil lubrication, with a design life exceeding 100,000 hours. It can also accommodate double-row thrust bearings and sealed bearings.
Flow: ~20000m³/h
Head: ≤320m
Pressure: 15MPa
Temperature: ≤205℃
Horizontal split-case double-suction pumps are available in FBS horizontal and FBSL vertical configurations, featuring either single-stage or double-stage impellers. Single-stage models utilize either foot-mounted support (A) or near-center support (B), while double-stage models employ center support. These pumps incorporate advanced hydraulic design, delivering high flow rates, high head, and high efficiency.
Materials for horizontal split-case pumps can be selected based on actual user requirements, including copper, 316 stainless steel, 416 stainless steel, duplex steel, Hastelloy, Monel, titanium alloy, and Alloy 20.
Widely applied across various industries in liquid transportation fields such as wastewater treatment, petrochemicals, crude oil transportation, pipeline network pressurization, papermaking, and offshore platforms, and can be integrated into skid-mounted systems.
