Desulfurization Slurry Pump

The two-phase process pump is a new generation of high-efficiency desulfurization pumps meticulously developed based on the successful design and manufacturing experience of the ZM series slurry pumps. It incorporates advanced technologies from similar domestic and international products, specifically tailored to the characteristics of pumps used in China’s flue gas desulfurization applications. The pump offers a large flow rate range up to 12,000 m³/h, with a typical head below 100 m. It covers all operating conditions for desulfurization system pumps and can serve as a large slurry circulation pump for absorption towers, a limestone slurry transfer pump, a gypsum slurry discharge pump, a recovery pump, a sump pump, and more.

Performance and Material Characteristics

■Hydraulic design employs computer-aided design (CAD) and two-phase flow theory.

■High efficiency, long service life, and reliable operation.

■ The flow-through components are constructed from fully metallic, wear-resistant chromium-nickel alloy material, offering both wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Featuring a small intergranular gap on the surface, it exhibits excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and higher mechanical strength.

■High operational reliability: All-metal pumps overcome the drawbacks of non-metallic pumps, such as lining detachment, tearing, and deformation.

■ Low hydraulic friction loss, delivering over 3% higher efficiency than non-metallic pumps with identical specifications.

■ All-metal pumps offer superior dimensional stability and control, featuring high surface finish on components, minimal clearance between parts, and high volumetric efficiency. Their overall efficiency exceeds that of non-metal pumps by more than 5%.

■ The service life of flow-through components is extended, as the metal guard plate exhibits superior resistance to shear sliding wear compared to typical non-metallic materials, enabling it to withstand prolonged shear abrasion.

■ Dynamic wear resistance ranges from 0.008 to 0.08 mm per year, with high tensile strength, maintaining consistent performance under prolonged abrasive conditions.

Shaft Seal Type

All shaft seals utilize mechanical seals. Our company offers two types of mechanical seal configurations: water-type shaft seals and non-water-type shaft seals.

■Shaft seal water type

For split mechanical seals, the packing gland water flow rate is 0.1 to 1% of the pump flow rate, but not less than 1 m³/h; the packing gland water pressure is equal to half the pump discharge pressure.

■Shaftless Water-Cooled Type

Waterless self-flushing mechanical seal with a unique structure and excellent water-saving performance.

Primarily designed for conveying slurries or pulps containing solid particles, offering wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Mainly used in environmental protection industries for circulating slurry transport or recirculation in various desulfurization and denitrification processes, and also suitable for other applications requiring wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant slurry handling.
