Pumps used are mainly categorized as follows:

  1. Pumps used in coal-to-methanol air separation units, including high-pressure liquid oxygen pumps, liquid nitrogen pumps, liquid argon pumps, cooling pumps, and chilled water pumps;

2. Pumps mainly used in coal crushing and transportation and coal (material) slurry preparation equipment, including: coal slurry unloading pumps, additive preparation pumps, additive metering pumps, coal mill water pumps, alkali solution metering pumps or ammonia metering pumps for pH adjustment of water-coal (material) slurry, and underground waste coal slurry tank pumps, etc.;

3. Pumps mainly used for coal (material) water slurry gasification and ash treatment, including: high-pressure coal (material) slurry feed pump, burner cooling water pump, quenching water pump or black water circulation pump, slag lock tank circulation pump, slag pool pump, preheating water pump, clarifier feed pump, deaerator water pump (or carbon washing tower feed pump), vacuum pump (system), vacuum condensate pump, flocculant pump, dispersant pump, low-pressure ash water pump, clarifier feed pump, clarifier bottom pump, filter feed pump, ground flushing liquid pump, vacuum filter vacuum pump, filtrate pump, etc.

  1. The main pumps used in the conversion and low-temperature methanol washing devices include: process hot condensate pump, high-pressure flash tank feed pump, low-temperature condensate pump, deoxidation tank feed pump, etc. The low-temperature methanol washing device is usually equipped in the decarbonization section. The low-temperature methanol washing usually has:

(1) The Linde process flow in Germany (similar to the process flow of Dalian University of Technology and other companies in China), and the supporting pumps include: H2S concentration tower discharge pump, H2S concentration tower feed pump, methanol regeneration tower feed pump, lean methanol pump, methanol/water separation tower feed pump, methanol regeneration tower reflux pump, underground sewage methanol pump, tail gas water washing tower bottom pump, etc.

(2) If the German Lurgi process is adopted, the supporting pumps include the main washing pump, tail gas reabsorption tower feed pump I, tail gas reabsorption tower feed pump II, reabsorption tower circulation pump, heat regeneration tower feed pump, fine washing pump, methanol water separation tower feed pump, heat regeneration tower reflux pump, wastewater pump, underground sewage pump, methanol supplement pump, etc.; 5. The main pumps used in the methanol synthesis and refrigeration station include: turbine condensate pump, main and auxiliary oil pumps for the lubricating oil station and emergency oil pump, etc. Different processes may have hot water circulation pumps, etc.; 6. The main pumps used in the methanol distillation unit include: if the German Lurgi process is adopted, the supporting pumps include: stable methanol pump, pre-distillation tower reflux pump, pressure tower reflux pump, atmospheric tower reflux pump, process water pump, submersible pump, alkali liquid pump, side discharge pump, crude methanol pump, fine methanol pump, washing tower bottom pump, circulating washing water pump, etc. (The types of pumps used in different process flows are also different);

Pumps used for methanol storage and transportation, sulfur recovery, and hydrogen recovery include: methanol train or truck loading pumps, methanol underground tank pumps, methanol feed pumps, etc. Sulfur recovery equipment uses liquid sulfur pumps, acid water pumps, etc. depending on the process.
